Tip of the Week – the power of the group

Complaining in convoy can bring rewards, says Resolver’s resident complainer Jasper Griegson

If you are one of a number of people with a problem, the collective strength of a group can lend power and credibility to the complaint. The complaint will be taken seriously and a well-drafted joint letter will carry a considerable amount of force. 

On the whole however, I usually find myself fighting a lone battle. Why? Because most people are too feeble or lazy to stand up for themselves in the face of adversity. By daring to go where others will not, you alone will become the envy of those who gripe and groan but do nothing.
