28/02/2018 Exciting news as Resolver announces that Richard Lloyd has joined Resolver as its UK Chairman.

Richard Lloyd holds an unparalleled reputation as one of Britain’s most influential consumer-rights champions. He brings over 25 years of experience in some of the best-known consumer groups, most recently in his role as Executive Director of Which? (the Consumers’ Association) and previously as CEO of the global federation of consumer groups, Consumers International. As well as his role as UK Chairman, Richard will chair Resolver’s industry-wide ethics committee.

Richard Lloyd says:

I’m really excited to be joining such a brilliant team that’s totally dedicated to using tech and data for the good of consumers. Resolver is unique in how it helps individuals and businesses to sort out problems that otherwise fuel mistrust in industries like banking, energy and travel. My aim here is simple. By helping Resolver to grow, keep its focus on serving consumers and help big organisations to do better when things go wrong, we can help improve how markets work.

Richard joins Resolver as we continue to grow. Over 1.7 million individual users are now signed up to the free Resolver service, which has revolutionised how people solve complaints with businesses from across all industries. With Resolver forecast to help sort out a further three million cases in 2018, we’re planning to expand even further. In addition to Richard Lloyd, Ian Creasey will become Resolver UK’s Chief Executive. Ian brings his formidable experience running a range of global businesses and is a leading marketing specialist. James Walker, founder of Resolver continues to lead the group as Global CEO. He remains committed to ensuring Resolver stays awesome.

2018 also sees the launch of the Resolving Group’s international operations, with Resolver South Africa already up and running and further announcements due later in the year.

James Walker says:

When I launched Resolver with just a small team of dedicated staff and investors, lots of people told me that they loved our idea, but in practice, it would be impossible to achieve. Now, with thousands of businesses working with us, clients from leading FTSE companies to Ombudsmen and regulators using our innovative software, insight and tech, I believe that we’re fundamentally helping change things for the better.
It’s awesome to have someone of Richard Lloyd’s stature to join the team as our UK Chairman. And with Ian Creasey joining us as UK Chief Executive, we’re being even more ambitious, while staying true to our ethics – as the UK’s leading free complaint resolution service and the most innovative provider of tech to help businesses be better.
