Based on resolver’s experience to date, if you move house and wish to change your season ticket to a new journey, you can apply for a ‘changeover’. This can be done if your season has a month or more remaining before expiry and simply entails the ticket seller or train company exchanging your current season ticket for another one with the same expiry date for your new journey. If there is a difference in price, this will be calculated using ticket prices at the time you purchased your original season ticket. No administration fee will be charged for this service. You should take your existing season ticket to any rail ticket office a few days before the date on which you want the journey to change and apply for a ‘changeover’. If you need any help with this matter, resolver can assist you in submitting, recording and reminding you when and who to escalate to.
