How does Resolver work?

Know your rights

There’s no jargon in our rights guides. Instead, they’re full of the info you need to get things sorted. We’ll always be on hand with guidance and support to help you get the results you’re looking for.

Get your voice heard

You can be certain that you’re talking to the right person at the right time. We automatically connect you to contacts at thousands of household names, ombudsmen and regulators to find a resolution.

Based on resolver’s experience to date, if you realise that you have left something on a train, you should report it missing to a member of transport staff (or to the company who runs the station if you have already left) and they will put you in touch with the relevant lost property office. Although train companies have no liability for lost property, they will do their best to get your missing items back to you. They may charge a fee for storage or postage and perishable items will be disposed of.

If you are unsatisfied with the help offered by the train company, you should contact contact either London Travelwatch at enquiries@londontravelwatch.org.uk (for the London area) or Passenger Focus at advice@passengerfocus.org.uk (for outside London) who will assist you in your complaint. resolver can assist you in submitting, recording and reminding you when and who to escalate to.

resolver can help you to resolve this issue for free, quickly and without hassle. As a first step we can assist you in writing your complaint. You can click on the link below to create your email.
