Based on resolver’s experience to date, when you pay for services online, proof of purchase is very rarely a problem as the trader will hold your details and have a record of any transactions and orders you make.

If you wish to cancel a service you paid for online, you should follow the trader’s online process or, if that is unclear, write them a letter or email expressing your wish to cancel your subscription. If you can provide a reference or account number, that will help them identify your order, but even a name, address and date should suffice.

If you are unable to cancel your service because you didn’t keep your confirmation email or receipt, resolver recommends that you submit your concern in writing to the Customer Services department of the company, along with any evidence you have collected, and resolver can assist you in submitting, recording and reminding you when and who to escalate to.

It can be very frustrating when you have lost your receipt/email confirmation and are unable to request a refund. Resolver can help you resolve this issue quickly, free of charge and without the hassle. We can also help you with the next step of writing your complaint.
