Are BT Broadband complaints common?

Yes, an Ofcom report that covered the last three months of 2013 found that BT Broadband services were the most complained about of the top five biggest providers. 

I don’t use BT, but do I still need to follow the BT Openreach complaints procedure?

Possibly. It depends what your problem is. If your complaint is with your broadband service provider, then it is unlikely to be a BT Openreach issue.

But if the problem is with telecoms infrastructure outside your home or business (commonly known as ‘the last mile’), then it will be the BT Openreach you need to complain to. resolver can help with this.
