Just to let you know for some feedback , we started claim for bundled bank account(Travel Insurance AA etc.) with Lloyds bank last week. My wife rang me up today having checked the bank balance etc at work & said they had paid £3270 into our account which equates to all fees & interest, she even rang the bank as could not believe it. I used your template letter (which I amended using the information you provided on technical issues with aircraft not being considered “exceptional circumstances”) to contact Germania following a delayed flight in September . I sent the letter via email on the 29th September and received an automated reply that day, followed by another response to confirm that the matter was being dealt with by their customer services department. Confirmation that the compensation of 800 Euros (400 Euros each) was to be paid was received within 2 days, followed by a further email on 4th October to confirm that our completed receipt had been received and passed to their accounting team. Although they stated that it could take up to 30 working days for the money to be received, it was credited to my account on 7th October.
